This how-to video focuses on how to install the RMail® App for Microsoft Outlook desktop to be able to start using the services of the App. It shows where to find it, how to download the correct version, what each step looks like, and how to navigate the entire installation process.
Step 1: To start, go to www.RMail.com and click on the ‘Apps’ marketplace.
Step 2: Click on the ‘RMail for Outlook and Desktop and Office 365’ icon, which brings the user to the download page.
Step 3: After scrolling down, there will be 2 options for Microsoft Office:
a) Download 32-bit
b) Download 64-bit
Step 4: To find out the version on the desktop, the user can scroll down to find the instructions on how-to confirm the version of Microsoft Outlook.
Step 5: After clicking download on the correct version, depending on the browser you will see either a ‘Save’ or ‘Run’ option. Prior to running the wizard, make sure your Microsoft Outlook desktop is closed during the installation process. To install the App, simply press the ‘Next’ button, confirm on the ‘Agree’ button, press ‘Next’ again . Make sure its going to be installed for everybody, press ‘Next’ again. If the security pop up appears, click ‘Yes’ and wait for it to be finished. When you are done, press ‘Close’.
Step 6: There is no need to reboot the computer. When you open Microsoft Outlook, press ‘New’ to compose a new message. You should see the RMail App for Outlook icon in the top left corner. If you are upgrading the button, you can begin using the RMail® service right away. If you are new to the RMail® service, when you compose a new message & press the ‘Send Registered’ button for the first time, there is a one time registration process. Once the registration is completed, you can start using the RMail® service.
